叹月的最初之兽：修订间差异

叹月的最初之兽 or叹月的最初之兽 was originally the 兽 form of 爱尔梅莉亚·杜夫纳. After the death of its previous vessel, it now possesses 威廉·克梅修 and 奈芙莲·卢可·印萨尼亚, and later offers its power to Feodor Jessman.

Chanteur was one of the original 兽s who roamed the planet back in the ancient past, until the 星神 came and transformed all of the original inhabitants of the planet into the 人类 race.  It is currently the only one of its kind and is immortal in that it cannot permanently die.

Original Vessel
The original vessel for叹月的最初之兽 was an orphaned 人类 girl named '爱尔梅莉亚·杜夫纳.' After losing her parents through some unknown means, she was taken to 寇马各 Orphanage where she met 威廉·克梅修. She lived a happy life there with 威廉·克梅修 and the other children, until the Destruction of the Surface occurred when the curse binding the 人类s to their human forms was broken and they started transforming back into their bestial selves.

At the time of her transformation, 爱尔梅莉亚 was looking up at the moon, longing for her father, 威廉·克梅修, who was said to have died during the final battle against the Visitor, 艾陆可·霍克斯登.As soon as her transformation into叹月的最初之兽 was completed, 爱尔梅莉亚 (as叹月的最初之兽) started devouring all of the souls in 寇马各 City and used her new 兽 powers to re-terraform the planet back to its original state as a grey desert.叹月的最初之兽/爱尔梅莉亚 then used all of the souls of 寇马各 citizens to recreate a dream world version of 寇马各 City, for when her father would return to her. She then spent 500 years waiting in loneliness, wailing at the moon, until an incident would reunite her with her father, 威廉.

Reunion with 威廉 in the Dream World
500 years later, 威廉 eventually did come back to the surface aboard the airship 'Plantaginesta' on a rescue mission to save the crew and passengers of the 'Saxiflaga,' a military salvager airship which had crash-landed in 寇马各 en-route back to 浮空大陆群 When the airship was attacked after 珂朵莉·诺塔·瑟尼欧里斯 accidentally woke up 艾陆可's corpse,叹月的最初之兽/爱尔梅莉亚 awoke. She then watched 珂朵莉·诺塔·瑟尼欧里斯's last stand from a distance. Noticing the badly hurt 威廉 and 奈芙莲·卢可·印萨尼亚 nearby, 爱尔梅莉亚 as叹月的最初之兽 sucked them inside of her dream world to save them.

Inside her dream world, 爱尔梅莉亚/Chanteur then took the form of a dream world version of 爱尔梅莉亚 and made 威廉 and 奈芙莲 live out the final days of humanity with the two of them being active participants in it. During this period, Dream 爱尔梅莉亚 pretended that 威廉 had just come back one year after the final battle and also formed a close bond with Nephren during this time and made her promise to take care of 威廉, if 威廉 were to ever go away again.

Chanteur's Song
*There is currently a debate over the naming of叹月的最初之兽 in the different Suka Suka media platforms. While the more correct translation of it should be <nowiki/>'叹<nowiki/>月的最初之兽,'<nowiki/> accord<nowiki/>ing to the title of Rhantolk's book in Episode 12 of the Suka Suka anime and Chapter 5 of the Suka Suka Light Novel which means <nowiki/>'Female<nowiki/> Singer'<nowiki/> or <nowiki/>'So<nowiki/>ngst<nowiki/>ress'<nowiki/> in Fre<nowiki/>nch in reference to 爱尔梅莉亚·杜夫纳. The official Yen Press Translation of the Light Novel goes with the more gender neutral spelling of <nowiki/>'Chanteur' fo<nowiki/>r the first novel which means <nowiki/>'Singer'<nowiki/> in F<nowiki/>rench. S<nowiki/>ome Suka Suka fans also prefer to go with fan translation of <nowiki/>'Shiantor.
