印萨尼亚

Insania (インサニア, Insania) is a 圣剑/遗迹兵器 that was co-owned by the Orlandry Merchants Guild and the Guardian Wings Military. Its current wielder was Nephren Ruq Insania until she lost it on the surface.

Background

Insania is a jagged shark-type blade. Its rank is B and its former user was Nephren Ruq Insania. Its talent is “to delay/stave off the fear of its users,” and the difficulty of its activation is not very high, but because Nephren has never used that ability, it is essentially an ordinary sword.

In December of 437, it vanished during a battle on the surface.

Physical Composition

Insania is a long black jagged edge blade that is composed of random multiple shining talismans. When combined, the talismans glow a purple color when activated with Nephren's 魔力and can unleash devastating purple blasts that can slice a Sky Island in half.

A unique design feature of this blade is that the fin parts of the blade is similar to a shark's fins.

特殊能力

Insania's special ability is "To stave off the user's fear," which explains how Nephren can stay so calm in battle.

其他信息

• Insania is a Latin term that means “madness, insanity” which refers to Insania’s ability to hold back fear and is perhaps foreshadowing to Nephren’s eventual possession by the dying madness of the First Beast, “La Chanteuse: The First Beast Who Laments At The Moon” (which fans like to refer to as “Shiantor.”)
